On 23 - 25 November1999, at Hotel Nikko, the Second National Seminar in Nuclear Medicine was successfully held. The seminar was jointly organized by the Ministry of Health, MINT, UM, UKM, USM, Nuclear Medicine Society of Malaysia, and Malaysian Nuclear Society (MNS).

Following the success of the series of International Conference on Radiation Curing and exhibition in Asia, the 7th International Conference on Radiation Curing and Exhibition, RadTech Asia '99 was held in Kuala Lumpur on
24th - 26th August, 1999.
